
Oliver was called to the Bar by Inner Temple in 1972 and took silk in 1995.
He has lived and worked in the Temple for many years and sits as a recorder at the Crown Court, mainly at the Central Criminal Court.
He is a Bencher of the Inner Temple and a Trustee of the Temple Church. He was elected to the Court of Common Council 2017 and is currently Deputy Chairman of the Capital Buildings Board and also sits on the Markets Board and the Finance Committee. He has previously chaired the Open Spaces Committee and served as Deputy Chairman of the Planning & Transportation Committee.
