George Abrahams CC
George started working at Smithfield Market straight out of school and has built up his international trading business which now has an annual turnover of almost £55 million, employing 75 staff. He was elected as a Common Councilman in 2000 and has served on the Finance Committee and Epping Forest and Commons Committee, of which he was Deputy Chairman from 2014 to 2016. He is currently a member of the Port Health & Environmental Services Committee and the Board of Governors of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. George is a liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Butchers.
