Suzanne Ornsby KC

Suzanne is a planning and environmental  silk in the Temple. She serves on the Corporation of London’s  Culture, Heritage and Libraries Committee, its Markets Committee, and the board of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She is the liaison for the Fleet Street Quarter. She is Junior Vice President of the Farringdon Ward Club and  a Freeman and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Butchers; Smithfield Market  being in the Farringdon Without Ward.

She is passionate about education and was made a Bencher of the Middle Temple in 2019 for her outstanding contribution in providing pro-bono advocacy training to young and aspiring barristers. She has supervised  many pupils who have gone on to have exceptional careers. She has served as a governor of various educational institutions and actively contributes to her Inn by sitting  on the Middle Temple’s Membership Committee and International sub-committee.

Suzanne spends her free time with family and friends, enjoys travelling, music, the arts, reading and poker. She is particular interested in geopolitics and history and chairs an on line  Military History Group initially established during covid to encourage social engagement for the local community.
